Weight Lifting Exercises : Weight Lifting Exercises: Decline Dumbbell Bench Presses


What I’ll be performing here is the Decline
Dumbbell Bench Press. Instead of using a bar, I’ll be using dumbbells. Same type of action,
bring it out to the side, stretch, and from the side of the body bring it up towards the
body, flexing the dumbbells. Control the weight. Bring it down slowly to the side, below the
nipples, bring the weight up, flex the chest together, bring it down. If you’re not getting
a good flex, you can always rotate the dumbbells towards each other, you might be able to get
a better flex in the middle of the chest that way. And then when you bring it back down,
rotate it, and rotate it back up. You want to do about three to four sets and about eight
to ten reps for this exercise. With the dumbbells you can have a wider stretch and you have
to concentrate more on controlling the weight. And, that’s how you perform a Decline Dumbbell
Bench Press.
