Hey guys I’m Carl and today I want to go over some steps on how you can do a seat drop and straddle through to belly which is also called swim throughs. A ways back I went over these steps but it was part of a longer video on some trampoline basics and I kind of wanted to do this skill by itself so let’s get started. First you’re going to want to be able to do a nice seat doggy belly and on a seat drop you’re going to land with your legs nice and straight and back straight right into a doggy and you’re going to land on your hands and knees at the same time and back nice and rounded and also try not to sit on your tail And then you’re going to go into a belly drop and have your arms bent like this and legs bent and try and land on your stomach nice and flat. Next you’re going to do a seat drop and you’re going to pass through a doggy without actually stopping in it and going into a belly And when you do this you want to make sure that you push your knees through kind of fast otherwise you’re going to land a little archy and it can hurt your back. The next step is after you do a seat drop into a belly drop you’re actually going to grab your shins a little bit and pull to help you get your legs through faster And after you feel comfortable doing that a few times you’re going to try and do a seat drop and keep your legs straight and straddle around to a stomach drop And the fun part of swim throughs is once you can do that you can actually do a seat drop straddle belly straddle back to seat and keep going back and forth.
