Hi Lipi, Let’s Discuss about the fitness assessment test that Performed on our client Heather Yes, That’s a Great Idea. Let’s Talk about her aerobic fitness test For her aerobic test , We used mcaft because as i described all the purpose and protocol – procedure for the aerobic fitness test for cycle ergo-meter and mcaft As per her fitness background she mentioned that she used to run every alternate day for on hour So, she said stepping would be more easier than cycle ergo-meter for her She also mentioned that she does workout with step mills too And I believe that stepping also replicate stair climbing which we usually do at our home and college so it will be lot more easier to do and perform mcaft efficient and effective than cycle ergo-meter Ya, that really make sense because she also mentioned that she doesn’t like to do biking and she runs hourly on every other day and also make sense because when we would have put her on bike she won’t be able to maintained the cadence of 50 as we increase the resistance for the test. So, I would also say that it’s a good choice that we did go for mcaft What would you like to say about the push up test that she was not able to perform really well as compared to other tests . ya, I would like to focus on that too, because when I asked her after demonstrating modified push ups because we have to follow the protocol as for the test. So for the test she was really ready to perform standard push ups, but we can’t go for standard push ups So I keep on telling her and correcting her to maintain the knee as a pivot point But she was moving too much from her hips She became very uncomfortable while performing the test I noticed that too like whenever you were correcting her about her position as to use knee as pivot point to perform the push up test It really looked on her face that She was nervous and she was not able to maintain the position, using the knee as a pivot point and I think after that her score went really low after the correction. so, I think it really impacted the performance Ya and it so It deviate the result also So as per my understanding Bhupinder, I believe that to carry out a successful fitness assessment, we should be more prepared before we demonstrate the test to our clients and so that we can guide whole protocol step by step and make it easier for them to performed and I think in that way we would be able to performed this good Ya I think as per my opinion I believe we should be more confident Because in this fitness world confidence is more important as a personal trainer So , if you are not confident enough to cue and make our client understand the protocol and purpose of the test It would make all our efforts be in vein. If the client is not able to perform the efficiently It will also deviate the test results So I think if we are confident enough it will be less confusing and nerve racking for the client and us to carry out the test more efficiently And the last thing I would be focused on that we as a fitness students we should also be more focused on our overall fitness and we should become more fit so that whenever we make our client to do something I think we should at back of the mind know each and every exercise It’s like we should practice what we preach. So it would be really helpful in our future career that we should able to do all these exercise on our self Because our client look at us as a role model if we are not able to it they won’t follow our instructions It’s like Be fit, Do fit and make the world fit Thank you
