#UoNSport Lifting instruction video – standing press


Standing press. Full technique Place a barbell, at about chest height, on
a rack. Position your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width
apart. Create a strong base and lift the bar off
the rack. Take a step back. Position your feet shoulder-width apart with
the barbell at collarbone level. Extend your arms to push the bar over your
head. Exhale during this movement. Pause. Slowly lower the bar to return to the start
position. Inhale during this movement. Keep the spine in a neutral position, and
