Static Hold Tabata Workout (Chin-Up, Handstand, Plank Push-Up, Pull-Up)

I do a lot of pull-ups and push-ups so
the benefit of doing all these static holds is it focuses me to be strong at
the tops of movements and key points where I need my strength. I need to get
my chin above the bar, and I need to be able to hang on to the bar for the
pull-ups and I need to be able to lock out for the push-ups. So these are
awesome. My name is Ron Cooper aka “The Pull-Up Guy”. I’ve broken 23 different
Guinness World Records in pull-ups, push-ups and step ups.
I’m here with Tabata Songs at Kendall Square CrossFit in Cambridge
Massachusetts and I am doing a static Tabata. I’ll be doing four different
movements for 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest. I’ll start with the flexed arm hang
it’s a chin-up grip I’ll go into a handstand push-up for the next one after
that I’ll just do a static hang holding the bar with a pull up grip and I’ll
finish with just a plank on my hands and I’ll repeat that. Welcome to Tabata. Are you ready? 5 4 3 2 1 GO!
