SmartHealth Octobre 2017 – Présentation des simulateurs numérique et physique – Congrès S2CA

After a month of work on our smart home for health project with the teaching Hospital of Nantes, we present you our major advancements. As part of our project, we are going to create a digital simulator. In fact, we want to show our whole smart home concept in a virtual environment. This will be a presentation of the smart house concept, in which the user can move and interact with the connected objects we will define. For this simulator we use softwares such as Unity or SketchUp. Unity is a game engine. We have already advanced a lot on this simulator, and the goal is to quickly propose a first version of the house including its connected objects. The physical simulator comes in addition to the digital simulator. Its purpose is to determine how we will interconnect objects, centralize information, and disseminate that information to the stakeholders: the patient and the doctor. First of all, we must gather connected objects from companies. That’s why we contacted many partner companies. For example, we met Qualcomm representatives in the teaching Hospital of Nantes, and soon we will meet Atos representatives. We are also developing an artificial intelligence that will deal with Data management and processing. On October 24, 2017 was held the Science and Connected Health Congress in Angers as part of the connected week. We went there to meet healthcare professionals to discuss big data in health. The numerous conferences and activities allow us to learn more about changes in the organization and security of the health system, provided by the development of big data. [Team building is important]
