Sailors From Souda Bay Participate in Weight Lifting Competition

THIS IS ALL FRIENDLY COMPETITION. BENCHING COMPETITION, IT’S A LOT OF FUN AND
I SET A NEW MAX TODAY, 225 AND THAT’S A RECORD FOR ME, SO I MEAN I’M PROUD. I WAS ABLE TO
PROVE SOMETHING TO MYSELF. THEY GOT A LOT OF BIG GUYS OUT THERE, I’M
DEFINITELY NOT THE BIGGEST BY FAR. I SAW THOSE GUYS IN LIKE MEN’S FITNESS MAGAZINES
AND YOU KNOW DIFFERENT BODY BUILDING COMPETITIONS AND I KNEW I WASN’T GOING TO BE LIKE THAT RIGHT OFF THE
BAT. BEFORE I LEFT FOR BOOT CAMP I WAS 165, RIGHT
NOW I’M WEIGHING 187 IS WHAT I CAME IN AT SO I’VE MADE SOME BIG PROGRESSION. “MORE WEIGHT MAN, COME ON!” THERE DEFINITELY SHOULD BE A LOT MORE PEOPLE
OUT HERE. I MEAN LITTLE GUYS LIKE ME CAN’T JUST BE WINNING
THESE COMPETITIONS WE NEED THOSE BIG BEEFY GUYS OUT HERE. THIS IS JUST KIND OF BRANCHING OUT, IT GIVES
ALL SORTS OF OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK OUT DIFFERENT MUSCLES GROUPS AND OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF. IT’S FUN TO JUST COME OUT HERE AND SAID I
DID IT.
