Hi my name is John Platero and I’m the
director of education for the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers and we’re
here today and this is Jillian by the way and we’re here to show you the
position to do knee to elbow push-ups. So you get into normal push-up position you
can see her scapular a scapula or kind of protruding a little bit. So I’m gonna
take my fingers put it on the top of her chest and has to pull a little bit of
weight just a little bit slightly so now they’re more kind of like flat on her
ribcage. Now it’s a normal push-up position she’s a little wider because
you’re gonna take one foot off the ground so you need a lot a wider base of
support. So I’ll go ahead and perform this pushup bringing the knee to the
elbow go ahead Jillian there you go. There you See the scapula a little bit away that’s
good and that’s how you do a knee to elbow pushup. John Platero and Jillian
