Hello, I’m Michal Prokop and now
we are going to talk about proteins. Proteins are an important group of substances
present in our bodies. They perform number of functions. One of the most important functions is that proteins
are the basic building blocks of living things. For maintaining muscle mass it is
necessary to choose high quality protein. Minimum quantity of protein intake
is 0.5 g / kg of your weight per day. For inactive sportsmen this amount
of daily intake is enough. But for athletes, bodybuilders, sprinters
like us – BMX and fourcross riders, the amount of daily protein intake should
be higher: up to 1.7 g / kg of your weight. Eggs, meat, legumes, fish and other foods
are very good sources of protein. If your protein intake requirements are higher,
you can use protein supplements. Best time to eat protein is between meals,
after training and even before a bedtime. My favourite proteins include protein supplements from
NUTREND such as Whey Core 55, Long Core 80 or Whey Core 100. My favourite supplement is this protein – Whey Core 100. It satisfies me with its flavour and ingredients because
it contains 100% whey protein. I mostly use it after the workout. Another protein supplement from NUTREND is Whey Core 55. However, it is the protein product with lower protein content and therefore I would recommend this protein
