New Year, New You?


All right so everybody is going around
saying Happy New Year! Right? New Year, new me. New Year, new you
everything is new. It’s New Year, so, we’re just gonna magically become new
people overnight right. December 31st hits and all of a sudden new year new me.
I promise you one thing it’ll be a new year that’s for sure but there won’t be
a new you. You’ll be the same old you but a new year. So, all I want you to do to
have the best year yet in the same body that you have the same
old you is to work on getting one percent better every single day of the
new year. Work on getting one percent better every single day. You don’t have
to become a hundred percent new I’m not asking you to swap yourself for a better
version of you all I’m saying is how can you improve yourself every single day. If
you do 20 push-ups do 21 right and then you do 22 I’m not asking you to do 40
I’m asking you to do 21 and a half. If you could do that and the reason I’m
saying that because by the end of a year comes you will be way better than you
were when you started and you don’t have to wish for a new you. You don’t have to
wish for anything different you don’t have to have all put together because
you will be better if you just stick to that program. So, if you can think about
that and say hey where are some areas that I need to improve to be the new me
then pick those items and and really work on becoming just one percent better.
That means that if you save $100 save a hundred and one dollar that’s 1%. I think
an extra dollar you can easily do that. You’re not gonna be sweating you’re not
gonna be worried you’re not even gonna notice the 1% difference. If you come in
at 7:59 every morning come at 7:58 but that’s gonna help you just a little
increments over a long period of time it’s gonna help you become a way better
person and you’re gonna be so happy about yourself and you don’t have to
wish for a new you in a new year or anything like that. You’re going to be
two times better before you know it you’re gonna be two times smarter. If you
read one book come and read one book and one page before the month is over. Right
and that’s the simplest act to become the new version of you that you’ve been
wanting to have and you’ve been saying that you’re gonna have. All it takes is
making a commitment to yourself to become just 1% better every single day
