Getting Started With Justin & Doug – Push-Ups

The reason I like this one is because
gravity is free, you can do it pretty much anywhere. So the major components are, straight from the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, and head. Don’t let your hips
fall down don’t let your elbows wing out and don’t chicken which means don’t let
your head go forward so those are the major Don’ts If you can do this version
great, if this is really, really difficult the regressed version, or one way to do
that, is to change the angle of your body. So now we’re on an elevated surface
takes that same movement and makes it a little bit easier, and remember too, this is
just one thing you can regress all the way up to push up where you’re
slightly inclined into a wall. If you needed a little bit more of a challenge
you can come back into the push-up position that we’ve started with and the
one thing that will change since we’re not adding resistance is tempo. so when he comes up, right, it’s a little explosive. It’s a faster movement on the
way up. Just keep in mind this is an advanced movement, it takes a little bit of work to get to that point, but that’s a push-up.
