Squats with free weights can either be done
with your dumbbells hanging directly here by your side, or if you don’t have shoulder
issues, you can rest them up here. Just make sure that your traps aren’t taking all of
the, the weight off of the dumbbell. So you’ve practiced your first squat sitting in that
chair, you got it down pat. I prefer to keep my weights down here by my side in direct
opposition to my exercise. Take a big inhale, down and as I exhale up I’m pressing my weight
into the heels so I can activate the gluts right here behind my leg. Again weights by
your side or they can be resting slightly up on the meaty part of the shoulders. Inhale
down, knees behind the toes weight pushes right up through the heel like you’re sitting
back to that chair but all the sudden quickly you want to get back up. Your goal is to choose
a weight that’s your going to fatigue in ten to fifteen reps one to three sets.
