Next, I’m going to show you how to an incline
fly on the same cable; again you’ll be bringing that right up to the top on both sides. Again,
make sure that they’re locked in. Take hold of your cables. Center yourself, and your
back is straight and your knees are bent. Again, protection is the key. You want to
start about here, no stress on your shoulder joints. Start about here; again, come out
and down, nice and controlled. You want to come back to about here. Again, not here,
too much stress on the shoulder joints. You’re here and out, it’s slow and controlled. Make
sure you’re breathing normally, doesn’t matter if you inhale on exertion, exhale, just make
sure your breathing normally and that your muscles are getting oxygen. Hold that for
about a sec. Come on back and down and back. Again, what you don’t want to do, again, you
don’t want to be in this position here. Not too fast, no herky-jerky motions. Center yourself,
nice bend to your knees. Always protect that lower back. Come out and back up. Nice and
smooth. And that’s how you perform incline fly on these cables.
